NRG Stadium

Football stadium lights

NRG Park is a multi-use complex that houses NRG Stadium (formerly known as Reliant Stadium) and home of the Houston Texans football team, NRG Convention Center, NRG Arena and NRG Astrodome (the eighth wonder of the world). The complex is located nine miles from the Omni Houston Hotel. The uniqueness of NRG Park is evident in the flexibility of its facilities by offering the opportunity to host various types of sporting events, conventions and meetings, large exhibitions, consumer shows, carnivals and concerts. The facility is also home to the world-famous Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo which runs for three weeks annually in March and each night ends with a concert performance. In addition to the regular annual or seasonal events held in NRG Park, it has been host to Super Bowl XXXVIII on February 1, 2004 and will host Super Bowl LI in February 2017.

NRG Park and NRG Stadium cater to all walks of life and all ages depending on what type of event is taking place. Events range from professional football to high school football games, international and domestic soccer matches, from gun shows to boat shows to home and garden shows, from the Barnum and Bailey Circus to Disney on Ice to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Throughout the year there truly are events that appeal to adults, kids and families.
